Fixed Picture Windows

Modern Windows’ assortment of windows have matching fixed window designs for our double hung products, and for use in their own installation as fixed glazing. They feature the designs and testing that match operating windows and are easily joined to the operating products or mulled together for a "ribbon of windows". Our fixed windows are available in a wide array of glazing and colors. Architectural shapes are available as well.

Model 2300: Fixed 3 1/4" Frame

The 2300 Picture Window is designed to match all our 3 1/4” frame depth products. It can be mulled several ways or used separately as a design enhancement. Multiple gangs can be fabricated within a single frame and architectural shapes are also available, to match the most creative vision.

Model 6300: FIXED 3” frame

The 6300 Picture Window with mitered frame is designed to match all 6000 series, standard glazed, double strength 1” I.G.U. It can be utilized as transoms, side-lites, or stand alone. Extruded thermal break aluminum with 0.125” wall thickness for maximum structural integrity.

Model 7300: FIXED 4 1/2" frame

Designed to accept 1 1/4” I.G.U., it’s the perfect picture window unit when ventilation is not required but visibility and sound control are of the utmost im- portance. The 7300 picture window is designed to complement our 7100 AW D/H, and can be used as a standalone or when transoms or side-lites are required. Field glaze friendly with built-in pocket weep system.

Testing

Picture windows are not tested but will meet or exceed all performance grades of the complementary products (e.g. double hung, sliders, projected series).
